Faroese sheepskin 120 x 80 cm Grey
The Faroe Islands is a self-governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark and consists of 18 rocky, volcanic islands between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean.
The Faroese sheep is a very robust animal and live all year round in the wilderness, where they largely manage on their own in the harsh and changeable weather.
The wool from Faroese sheep is twofold - the inner layer is short and soft, while the outer layer is harder and longer. The Faroese sheep have never been industrialized, which means that the color composition of the skins is very varied, just as each skin is unique. The Faroese skins are health certified and live up to the EU's veterinary requirements.
Good advice for the maintenance and care of your sheepskin:
* Shake it regularly
* Vacuum it regularly
* Air your skin - and preferably in frosty weather. It can also be put in the freezer overnight
* If you spill it on it, wipe it with a not too damp cloth
* Brush it through to keep it nice
