The Århus Pendant is designed by the owner of HALO Design, Michael Waltersdorff, and the designer Emanuele Patton. Together they have designed many lamps and have many years of experience and knowledge on how to create not just a fantastic looking lamp but also good lightning. Århus, or Aarhus as it is now, is the second largest city in Denmark and is called "The City of Smiles" and this lamp and the whole series got its name because the upper part of the lamp is shaped as a smile :-)
